Homemade Pretzels Inspired by European Christmas Markets
How to Make Soft Salted Pretzels at Home
Pretzels
Pretzels are a long tradition at holiday time and a real staple of many Christmas markets. They have been used as ornaments on the Christmas tree. Many believe the three holes are a religious symbol and others think those holes signify good luck, prosperity and religious fulfillment. Whatever you believe or don’t believe, they are delicious, hardy, salty, perfect for walking and eating and sharing.
Here is a simple recipe you can make at home.
I use a stand mixer to make things easier.
